This summer, experience the Adelaide Hills like never before, onboard SteamRanger’s newest train service The Sunsetter between Mt Barker and Strathalbyn.Departing Mt Barker in the late afternoon, settle back in air-conditioned comfort, aboard our recently restored 1950’s-era Victoria regional train, as the late afternoon shadows extend over the glorious Mt Lofty Ranges, and the kangaroos pace our diesel-hauled train, as our train winds its way toward the town of StrathalbynOn arrival in Strathalbyn, there will be ample time to find a meal at the nearby Terminus hotel, before departing returning to Mt Barker, later in the evening.

SUNSETTER – MEAL PACKAGE
Join SteamRanger on the first our new summer services from picturesque Mt Barker. Departing Mt Barker in the late afternoon, settle back in air conditioned comfort aboard our newly introduced vintage train, as our heritage diesel locomotive does all the hard work, carrying your through the spectacular Mt Lofty Ranges to Strathalbyn. You’ll have three hours to enjoy an evening meal at Strathalbyn’s Terminus Hotel, before returning to Mt Barker, arriving back at around 10pm.
